Mineral water
ŠILELIS

The land that nurtures the forests of Anykščiai offers its gifts to both nature and people. One of the greatest treasures of SPA VILNIUS Anykščiai is “Šilelis” mineral water, drawn from a 312-metre-deep artesian well and supplied directly to our Wellness Centre.
What makes “Šilelis” mineral water special?

Rich in naturally occurring minerals, it is used both in SPA treatments and as part of our wellness packages, allowing every guest to experience its benefits.

For centuries, mineral water has been one of the cornerstones of SPA and wellness traditions. The “Šilelis” mineral water at SPA VILNIUS Anykščiai belongs to the chloride-sulphate sodium-calcium-magnesium mineral water group. Its naturally balanced mineral composition makes it suitable for a wide range of wellness programmes and everyday well-being routines. We’re proud that, together with our therapeutic mud, “Šilelis” is recognised for qualities comparable to those of renowned European healing mineral springs.

When consumed regularly and as recommended, mineral water may help maintain the body’s fluid and electrolyte balance and support recovery after periods of physical activity or stress. Thanks to its mineral composition, it is particularly valued by those seeking to support healthy digestion, metabolic processes, and overall well-being.

How do these minerals support well-being?

Calcium plays an important role in maintaining healthy bones, transmitting nerve impulses, and supporting the body’s natural recovery processes. Magnesium contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system, supports healthy muscle function, and may help reduce feelings of fatigue and tension. Sodium helps regulate the body’s fluid balance, while together with potassium it contributes to maintaining normal electrolyte balance. Bicarbonates are associated with supporting the stomach’s secretory function, while sulphates and chlorides play a role in normal digestive and excretory processes.
