Children’s Halotherapy at SPA VILNIUS recreates the unique microclimate of natural salt caves, maintaining a comfortable temperature and optimal humidity. During the session, the air is enriched with microscopic salt particles that help support respiratory health, encourage relaxation and strengthen the body’s natural immune system.
This non-invasive treatment is particularly beneficial for children who experience frequent colds, upper respiratory tract infections, mild bronchial asthma, recurrent bronchitis or allergies. It may also help support children with atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, seborrhoeic dermatitis, acne, poor sleep quality, nervous tension or increased sensitivity to stress.
The benefits of halotherapy are based on the natural therapeutic properties of salt, familiar to many after spending time by the sea. Salt-enriched air helps support the respiratory system, promotes the natural clearance of mucus, encourages easier breathing and helps protect the airways from infections. Time spent in the salt room also promotes relaxation, calms the nervous system and supports the body’s natural resistance to bacterial and viral infections.
Important Information
- The salt room is available for children during designated children’s sessions only. To help young guests relax and feel at ease, calming videos and children’s animations are shown during these sessions.
