SPA
etiquette

Our SPA therapists are looking forward to welcoming you. To help your relaxation begin from the very first moment, we invite you to read our recommendations and helpful tips for a smooth, worry-free experience. After all, when you’re well prepared, it’s much easier to unwind.

How to prepare
for treatments

01
SPA reservations

To ensure your stay unfolds exactly as you’d like and so we can recommend the treatments best suited to your needs, we encourage you to book your SPA rituals in advance. You may cancel your reservation free of charge up to 4 hours before the scheduled treatment time. If you do not arrive for your appointment without prior notice, the time allocated by our specialists will remain reserved for you. Therefore, no refunds will be issued for unused programme services.

02
Arriving for your treatment

Relaxation begins before the very first touch. We invite you to arrive 10 minutes early, giving yourself enough time to change, check in, and settle into a slower pace. Our team will welcome you at the SPA reception and guide you to the treatment area. We kindly ask you to arrive on time. If you are late, your treatment may need to be shortened to ensure that every Relaxness receives their scheduled experience.

03
Dress code

SPA VILNIUS Day in SPA will provide you with a bathrobe and slippers. You can leave your clothes in the changing room before your treatment.

04
Mobile phones & silence

The peaceful forests of Anykščiai invite you to slow down—and we encourage you to preserve that tranquillity throughout the SPA. Feel free to use your phone to capture beautiful moments, but we kindly ask that calls and notifications wait until later. Silent mode is appreciated at all times.

05
Jewellery

We recommend removing jewellery and accessories before your treatment. This helps protect them from water, oils, and heat while allowing your body to experience the full benefits of every touch.

06
Make-up

Your skin benefits most from direct contact with professional skincare products. If you’re booked for a facial treatment, we recommend arriving without make-up. This allows the products to work more effectively, shortens the cleansing stage, and gives you more time to enjoy your treatment.

07
Relaxation begins with a shower

Before massages, body rituals, baths, swimming, or using the saunas, we recommend taking a shower. It prepares your body for the treatment and enhances its benefits.

If you’ve booked a massage, we recommend beginning your relaxation with a body scrub or a hammam ritual. Well-prepared skin responds better to touch, allowing the feeling of relaxation to last even longer.

08
Skin care

If you’re planning to enjoy a body scrub, we recommend avoiding shaving or hair removal on the same day, as freshly treated skin may be more sensitive to the products used during the ritual.

09
Dining

For the most comfortable SPA experience, we recommend avoiding heavy meals for at least one hour before your treatment.

10
Water — part of your rest

After warming rituals, massages, or physical activity, your body naturally needs water. We encourage you to stay well hydrated – it helps your body recover and enhances the benefits of SPA treatments.

11
Alcohol

To allow your body to fully benefit from your SPA treatments, we recommend avoiding alcohol before and after your visit. This helps your body relax more effectively and reduces potential health risks.

12
Your well-being

To ensure your treatments are both enjoyable and safe, please let your therapist know about any medical conditions, allergies, or recent medical procedures before your appointment.

13
Pregnancy

Your changing body deserves special care. If you’re expecting, please let your doctor or therapist know before your treatment so we can tailor your experience to your needs and ensure your comfort and safety. Treatments for the expectant Relaxnesses are available from the 12th week of pregnancy.

14
Contact lenses

If you wear contact lenses, please let your therapist know before your facial treatment so they can make your experience as comfortable as possible.

15
Bathing rituals

Bath rituals are most beneficial when your body can relax completely, which is why we recommend enjoying them without swimwear. If you prefer, the treatment can also be performed while wearing a swimsuit or disposable underwear.

16
Children in the SPA areas

If you’re visiting with children, we kindly invite you to help our Little Relaxnesses discover the importance of peace and quiet by encouraging calm and respectful behaviour throughout the SPA.

17
Fragrances

Many of our SPA rituals incorporate the benefits of aromatherapy. To ensure the SPA environment remains enjoyable for everyone and that treatments deliver their full effect, we kindly ask guests to avoid wearing strong perfumes or other intense fragrances.

18
Extend your relaxation

After your treatment, there’s no need to rush back into the rhythm of the day. Your therapist will invite you to spend a few peaceful moments in our relaxation lounge before you continue with your day.
