Thai Traditional Massage is one of the world’s oldest body therapies, with a history spanning more than two thousand years. According to tradition, it was founded by the personal physician of the Buddha, giving rise to a practice that is valued not only for relaxation, but also for its ability to restore balance, encourage wellbeing and support the body’s natural healing processes.
During the treatment, your therapist works with the hands, forearms, elbows and, at times, body weight, applying techniques in a carefully structured sequence along the body’s energy lines. The body is not only massaged but also gently stretched and mobilised, making this an active and deeply therapeutic experience. As tension is gradually released, you are left not only feeling relaxed, but also lighter, more mobile and beautifully rebalanced.

Recommendations
Many guests notice an improvement in their wellbeing after just one treatment. However, for the deepest and longest-lasting benefits, we recommend a course of 3–5 treatments, with 2–3 days between each session.
The massage is performed on a traditional Thai mat while wearing comfortable treatment clothing provided by the SPA.
